On January 17, 2022, Rochester Community Schools welcomes all students, staff, families, caregivers and community members to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through a variety of virtual learning opportunities

10am Keynote presentation

All day. Tribute to MLK

Click this tribute link to view the following. 1. Student and staff tribute. 2. Musical performances from Adams, Rochester and Stoney Creek bands. 3. Neighborhood House partnership with Social Justice Club students to support people and families in need.


All day. Crown the king

Share photos of yourself in a homemade crown to represent the values of Dr. King, including dignity, honor, justice, leadership and equality. Take a photo in your crown. Share it on social media and tag Rochester Community Schools on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag: #RCSMLK. Make your own crown or reserve a free craft kit to pick up on Jan. 6 or 13.
