Great Lakes Ace Hardware Rochester Hills Celebrating Grand Opening Weekend April 22-23-24, 2022!
Rochester Hills, MI April 13, 2022 – The second Rochester Hills location for Great Lakes Ace is gearing up for spring with a Grand Opening Celebration to welcome new neighbors into the location. The store opened in the Rochester Hills Shopping Plaza just before Christmas and has been preparing to celebrate with fanfare. The official Chain Cutting Ceremony held in conjunction with the Rochester Chamber of Commerce will be held Thursday, April 21 at 4pm at 1404 Walton Blvd.
The festivities begin on Friday April 22 with free Gift Bags to the first 59 customers to celebrate the 59th store opened by Great Lakes Ace. There will be hourly drawings for prizes throughout the day. To celebrate Earth Day there will be free tree saplings handed out to the first 75 customers. The kids can get firsthand experience at the seed planting station. Gardeners from Tollgate Farms will be on hand to answer questions and provide tips on gardening.

On Saturday April 23, there is more excitement and free stuff. The first 50 customers to visit with a dull knife will get a free knife sharpening so bring in a dull kitchen knife and see how quick and easy it is with the Great Lakes Ace knife ReSharp program. Experience the flavorful food that is being prepared by local BBQ enthusiast, Joe Leal, The Keto Grill Guy on a Big Green Egg grill. Stock up on rubs and sauces which will be 20% off the whole day. Focus shifts to a popular neighborhood group, Leader Dogs for the Blind on Sunday April 24th. The store will be holding their famous “Bucket Sale”. When a customer donates $5.00 to support Leader Dogs for the Blind they will receive a 5 Gallon Ace bucket that they can fill and get 20% off the purchase for the day.
