Missing Person Located

On Monday, 5/23/22 at approximately 11pm, Rochester officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a missing subject. The subject’s family stated they received concerning message and were concerned about the subject’s welfare. Rochester Officer contacted multiple agencies to check address within their jurisdiction. The subject was located in White Lake and was turned over to the parents.


Police Rear Ended by Drunk Driver

On Friday, 5/27/22 at approximately 2:40am, a Rochester officer was conducting a traffic stop when they were rear ended by a vehicle. The officer made contact with the driver, a 30-year old male from Shelby Township. The driver had shown signs of intoxication. Field sobriety evaluations were conducted and the driver was placed under arrest. The driver was taken to the Rochester Police Department where he was given a breath test. The breath test yielded a result of 0.24 BAC. The driver was lodged until sober and released with a citation pending a further court date. Neither the driver nor police officer were injured in the traffic accident.
