OPC membership is available at no charge to all residents 50+ of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township. Registration forms are available at OPC or online at opcseniorcenter.org. You must register in person as proof of residency is required. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester.


650 Mid-Day Club | Escape to Margaritaville

July 14 | 6:00-8:00pm

Live concert with The Blind Justice Band, food & refreshments. Event is open to the public, and $15 ticket includes dinner, dessert & one drink ticket. Additional drink tickets available for purchase. Dress in your best Margaritaville style. There will be prizes for the best outfits. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester. Shake, Rattle & Roll 50’s Line Dance Party

July 23 | 1:00-3:00pm

50’s line dance party, open to the public. Bring out your poodle skirts and saddle shoes! Seasoned, novice and non-dancers are all welcome to enjoy the party. Tickets are $5 and include ice cream floats.

Travel with the OPC – Ford House Tour

July 29 | 9:00am-3:30pm

We will tour the impeccably designed Main Residence of Edsel & Eleanor Ford. The house was designed by prominent architect Albert Kahn and inspired by Cotswold-style cottages in England. Around ever corner you’ll discover world-class art and design pieces, including paintings by Vincent Van Gogh and Diego Rivera. Lunch is included at the Continental, located on the Ford grounds with an extraordinary view of Lake St. Clair. Motor coach. Tickets are $97. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester. Come enjoy a docent-led tour of the Detroit Historical Museum. Learn about Detroit with award winning exhibits including Doorway to Freedom, Arsenal of Democracy, Gallery of Cultural Arts. Caring & Sharing Loss Support Group July 15 | 10:00 – 11:00am – Newcomers

Participating in a grief support group can be a healthy step in the healing process. Meet others who are dealing with similar losses and gain a better understanding of the grief process. ABOUT THE OLDER PERSONS' COMMISSION (OPC)

The Older Persons' Commission (OPC) provides something for everyone 50+ with a wide array of personal enrichment, fitness, aquatic, social and travel offerings. We also offer supportive senior services such as Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Service, Transportation and more. Residents 50+ of the City of Rochester Hills, City of Rochester and Charter Township of Oakland are automatically members of the 90,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility.
