41-year old Rochester Hills Women Arrested

Rochester, MI - October 10, 2022 - At approximately 11:52pm, while on uniformed patrol in the city of Rochester, Rochester Officer was parked in the parking lot of 510 N Main St. observing the traffic on N Main St. Officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed. Officer pulled out and attempted to catch up to the vehicle. Officer observed the vehicle change lanes without using a turn signal. The listed vehicle continued northbound into an area with a posted speed limit of 35 mph.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on N Main St near Linwood. Officer made contact with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle who was identified as a 41-year old female from Rochester Hills by her MI driver's license. Officer could smell the odor of consumed intoxicants coming from her mouth as she spoke. Officer could now also see that her eyes were bloodshot. Field sobriety task was conducted. She failed them. A PBT was given, and the result was .14%. She was arrested for OWI, taken to the Rochester Police Department where she was given a breathalyzer. The result was, .14 and .15 BAC. She was processed and held until sober. Ticket written for OWI.


Report of Catalytic Converter Theft

Rochester, MI - October 12, 2022 - At approximately 2:23pm, Rochester Officer took a report of a catalytic converter theft in the 1100 block of Ironwood Ct. No suspect and no witnesses available at this time.


Drunk Driver Arrested for Speeding on University

Rochester, MI - October 14, 2022 - At approximately 1:05am, Rochester Officer was traveling behind a Jeep on W/B University, near Oak, in a fully marked patrol vehicle. Officer observed the Jeep to be traveling at a high rate of speed for this road and began to pace this vehicle going 39 MPH in a posted 25 MPH zone.

Officer performed a traffic stop in the S/W parking lot near University and Livernois. Officer identified the driver as a 31-year old male from Sylvan Lake. While speaking with the driver, Officer noticed a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the interior of the vehicle. Officer also noticed that the driver had blood shot eyes. Officer asked him to perform sobriety tasks and he failed them. He was given a PBT and the result was, .11%. He was arrested, taken to the Rochester Police Department where he was given a breathalyzer and the result was, .14 and .13 BAC. He was processed and held until sober. Ticket written for OWI.


Report of Stolen Purse

Rochester, MI - October 17, 2022 - At approximately 10:54am, Rochester Officer took a report of a larceny from vehicle. Complainant had her purse stolen from her vehicle in the 800 block of Oakwood. No witnesses available.
