Stoney Creek vs Port Huron, Youth Day

WHEN/WHERE: 7pm HOME

6755 Sheldon Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306

RESULTS: Win 48-17, Record: 1-0

The game opened with a tribute to the Cougar's Honorary Team Owner, Collin Jones. Cougar players walked the field in white button-ups and ties holding #9 placards to honor Collin.


The first half was a tight contest. Port Huron took an early lead until Zac Hager touchdown tied the game midway through the 1st quater at 7-7.

Eric Boothe scampers into the end zone from 4 yards to put the Cougars in front of Port Huron, 14-7, late in the first quarter.

After a Port Huron field goal, Jonny Fogler hits paydirt from 2 yards as the Cougars push their lead to 21-10 with 5:25 left in the half.

Port Huron scores with 1:04 left in the half to cut the Cougars’ lead to 21-17 at halftime.

Jonny Fogler breaks free for a 56-yard touchdown with 6:19 left in the 3rd quarter to extend lead to 28-17.

Another big TD run for Stoney as Eric Boothe scampers 49 yards pushing the score to 35-17 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Eric Boothe gets his 2nd consecutive rushing TD, bringing it in from 17 yards to bring the lead to 42-17.

Kyle Parks closes the games scoring from 21 yards out to bring the score to 48-17 and what would be the final score!

RESULTS: Win 14-7; Record: 2-0

Big crosstown rivalry win as the Cougars pull out a late touchdown to beat Rochester 14-7!

It was almost a scoreless 1st half, until the Cougars'Jacob Best finds Sam McDermott for a 28-yard touchdown. Quentin Ubaydi adds the extra point as Cougars lead Rochester 7-0 with 1:19 left in the half.

Cougars twice in third quarter drive deep into Rochester territory but come away with no points. Cougars lead 7-0 at end of 3rd quarter.

An exciting 4th quarter sees the Falcons complete a TD pass and tie the game at 7-7 with 4:51 left in the game

Cougars pull out the late victory 14-7 as Jacob Best plunges into the end zone from 2 yards out with 41 seconds on the clock. Quentin Ubaydi nails the extra point.

Stoney Creek vs Clarkston, Commitment to a Cause

RESULTS: Loss 13-34; Record: 2-1

It was not only a night for football, but the Cougars "Commitment to a Cause" game supporting New Day Foundation. New Day helps provide emotional and financial support for families impacted by cancer. The Cougars were able to raise $6,183 for New Day!

Clarkston scores on 70-yard run on first play of game to take 6-0 lead on Cougars. Extra point is blocked.

Cougars drive to Clarkston 1 before turning ball over on downs. Clarkston runs 99 yards on the next play to up its lead to 12-0.

Clarkston scores on 18-yard with 2:13 left in the half to take a 19-0 lead into the half.

Cougars get on board with Jonny Fogler catch from Jacob Best with 7:07 left in the third quarter. Clarkston leads 19-6.

Clarkston extends lead over Cougars to 27-6 with TD and 2-point play with 2:30 left in third quarter.

With 2:21 left in the 4th quarter, Clarkston scores on 73-yard run to push lead over Cougars to 34-6.

Jacob Best connects with Eric Boothe from 25 yards for a score as Cougars cut Clarkston lead to 34-13 with 1:24 left. Quentin Ubaydi converts the PAT.

Final: Clarkston 34, Cougars 13.

RESULTS: Loss 10-24; Record: 2-2

Stoney faced off against the defending Division 1 State Champions.

After a scoreless 1st quarter, West Bloomfield strikes first with a 15-yard touchdown pass with 6:42 left in the half, Cougars trail 7-0.

Cougars lose fumble with 2:40 left in the half, West Bloomfield takes advanage of the turnover and kicks a 32-yard field goal with a minute left to take a 10-0 lead at the half.

Jonny Fogler scores from 2 yards as Cougars cut West Bloomfield lead to 10-7. Quentin Ubaydi kicks the PAT. Fogler set up the TD with a 38-yard run.

3rd quarter ends with Cougars trailing 7-10.

West Bloomfield scores on 57-yard run to push lead over Cougars to 16-7. PAT fails.

Cougars at West Bloomfield 17 after 43-yard pass from Jacob Best to Eric Boothe and West Bloomfield personal foul.

Quentin Ubaydi nails 32-yard field goal as Cougars pull within 16-10 with 6:40 left.

West Bloomfield recovers onside kick, takes over at 49.

West Bloomfield scores on 65-yard run to push lead over Cougars to 24-10 with 4:47 left. 2-point attempt works.

Final: West Bloomfield 24, Cougars 10.

Southfield A&T scores on 1-yard run and converts PAT to tie Cougars 7-7 with 6:26 left in the third quarter.

Cougars answer Southfield A&T’s touchdown with TD of their own coming on 11-yard run by Jonny Fogler. Quentin Ubaydi PAT makes it 14-7 with 2:00 left in third quarter. Big play in 75-yard drive was a Fogler 45-yard run.

Jacob Best scores on 13-yard pass from Eric Boothe with 11:52 left to take 21-7 lead over Southfield A&T. Quentin Ubaydi nails another PAT.

Southfield A&T scores TD with 6:06 left to cut Cougars’ lead to 21-14.

Jonny Fogler picks up 4 yards for first down. Cougars up 21-14 with 3:00 left. Southfield A&T calls time.

Trick play - Eric Boothe pass to Sam McDermott - on 4th-and-4 from near midfield gives Cougars first down. They lead 21-14 with 2:07 left.

Final: Cougars 21, Southfield A&T 14. Cougars improve to 3-2.

First quarter ends tied at 0-0. Lake Orion has the ball at their own 34. Cougars have controlled the ball for more than 11 minutes in the 1st quarter.

Lake Orion scores on 20-yard run to take 7-0 lead on Cougars with 8:58 left in the 2nd quarter.

Lake Orion pushes lead to 14-0 over Cougars with 78-yard touchdown run with 1:23 left in half.

Jacob Best scrambles into the end zone from 17 yards as Cougars cut Lake Orion's lead to 14-7 with 25.6 seconds left. Quentin Ubaydi kicks the PAT. The score at the half is Cougars 7, Lake Orion 14.

Score remains Lake Orion 14, Cougars 7 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

23-yard fIeld goal extends Lake Orion lead over Cougars to 17-7 with 4:31 left in the game.

Jonny Fogler scores on a 3-yard run as Cougars go up 7-0 on visiting Oxford. Quentin Ubaydi nails the PAT.

Oxford answers with a 1-yard touchdown run to tie the Cougars 7-7 with 1:34 left in first quarter.

Eric Boothe catches a 28-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Best on a 4th-and-7 play with 5:34 left. Quentin Ubaydi’s PAT puts the Cougars ahead of Oxford 14-7.

Halftime: Cougars 14, Oxford 7

Jonny Fogler scores his second touchdown of the game, this one from 3 yards, to push the Cougars’ lead over Oxford to 20-7. PAT was blocked. Jacob Best had the big play of the drive: a 41-yard run down to the 7.

Oxford scores on a 50+ yard screen pass to cut the Cougars’ lead to 20-13. Jonah McKay blocks the PAT. There is 4:40 left in the third quarter. After 3 quarters, Cougars 20, Oxford 13. Oxford has the ball near midfield.

Oxford scores on 30-yard pass on 4th-and-12 to tie Cougars, 20-20, with 8:35 left in the game.

Cougars and Oxford heading to overtime tied 20-20.
